January 2011- This years Produce avaialble to Ngati Rangataua for marae hui and the neighbours(Kuia and Kaumatua) who need it......... after REKA wananga in November 2010- Thats what the garden produced after 6 weeks!!!!!
This shot shows the avocado and feijoa trees at the back of the marae. Along the fence line goji berries, guava and a grape vine. A walnut tree, a fig, several lemons, mandarin, orange and tamarillo. Plums, nectarines, peaches and apples have been planted at the neighbours for the marae too. Hope they have survived the snow!!!!
